After reading the Switch Science Magazine article, “I want to build my own laptop computer using a Raspberry Pi 400,” I thought it looked interesting and decided to try copying it.
I bought the display on Amazon: Haude 8.8-inch strip H088IPW1 monitor 1920×480
I measured the dimensions and designed a case with a 3D printer.
At first, I attached it to the Raspberry Pi 400 just like in the Switch Science Magazine article, but I found it awkward to use, so I made legs.

You can connect an OrangePi Zero2w and use it as a small dashboard (signage).
